Although we could have run a 2008 Fall league, we elected to instead add those teams in to the VA Leagues for varying reasons (different reasons for different teams).
This Spring we will run the IFFL PG County League. We would like to run a 6-team A division and a 6-team B division.
Expected in the A:
DM (Dmob)
Sharks
Bad Boyz
Vegas Nights
Playmakers
TBA (possibly iPower)
The first 5 teams are guaranteed a slot in the league for 2 weeks (have 2 weeks from 1/12 to pay deposit).
Expected in the B:
Grand Hustle
(any number of new and returning teams)
With 12 teams in, we run a 5-game regular season (for each 6-team division) + PG County playoffs. Teams will then ALSO participate in the IFFL regional playoffs (MD teams integrated into the VA playoffs). This way, MD teams will play 6-8 games in MD (reg season + playoffs), then 1-4 games in VA.
(regional playoffs).
The top 2 in A earn USFFA Nationals berths. #3 & #4 might earn a berth as well, depending on what we do in the Fall. Shay is trying to organize a MD state tournament in conjunction with a few other leagues. If he does, the other 2 USFFA bids will come from that...but this Spring league will guarantee 2 USFFA bids to its top 2 teams. USFFA Nationals will be likely hosted in Fairfax County this year - so these bids will be much sought after.

Registration:
$800/team:
-$300.00 deposit
-$250.00 due in late March
-$250.00 due in late April
Fees include everything: officiating, fields, county fees, awards, MD & VA playoffs.
You do have to provide your own equipment (belts & footballs).
