Listen, I think it`s clear that The Nuts have come a long way since the beginning of last season. Maybe it`s true that the Boyz didn`t really give it their all last Sunday... but to come within one dropped TD pass of beating the much heralded Bad Boyz is nothing short of spectacular. That would make my portion of the league fee, the Saturday nights I could have been out drinking/getting ass and all those long rides to Ft Washington at 8 in the morning worth it. Ahh, my mistake... i thought we were playing Bad Boys this past week. I guess the schedule got changed, and we played the Playmakers. Not that we would have necessarily won, but the shotty reffing definitely took a role in our defeat. I`m not trying to come off as bitching about the refs, but since last year it just seemed that calls went against us and in similar situations with roles reversed... for our opponents. I`ll spare you guys and only mention two plays which stuck out this past Sunday. I was running Q again, and i went to throw a pass... it was deflected by a Playmaker and i caught the ball, rolled left and threw a TD strike to my slot receiver. The refs said that i could run, but could not throw the ball off a deflection. Another play later in the game, was another broken play where I rolled out and hit my center (he was behind the LOS), and he threw the ball to another receiver for what would have been a first down. There was a roughing the passer flag thrown which would have given us more yardage. Again called back, the ref said we couldn`t throw two forward passes if the first didn`t go backwards (even if it was behind the LOS). So, the roughing penalty and the (perfectly legal) second pass were offsetting penalties and we had a "do-over." WTF is a "do-over?"... Bull$#*+! The very next game, the Sharks pulled that off against the Bad Boys... and of course, no call. There`s more, but I`m not gonna bitch about it now. Good game, Playmakers... you earned that win, but not by that margin. I got respect for that secondary, I rarely found an open target to throw to. It just hurts, when you`re already outclassed athletically and it seems the refs are wearing the opposing jerseys as well. pz |

Hey Nuts I know what your saying for years we went through the same thing because of our style of play. We were called dirty amoung other things , but if you complain to the refs they will fuck you every time.I know its hard but you have to play through it. Oh! good game also. |

In 3 years we are 20-2 with a 2nd place showing in the A bracket...a Stars N Stripes Tournament champ. And we have won this division 2 years straight.
reporter....do a story on why you guys only have 1 win in 2 seasons....was that even against a MD team or did you guys have to play a sorry Entourage team.
I mean cmon man, last year when we had MD vs VA day you guys didnt even have a full squad...you had 2 play with 2 BADBOYZ players and 1 RHINOS player.
I expected more out of the nuts this year, and I can only assume that the team as a whole endorses your ridonkulous comments seeing how no one from your team checks you.
If you guys some how manage to stay in this league next year.....WE WILL BLOW YOU OUT.

If anyone legitimately thinks that the blogger: "reporter" actually plays for The Nuts, then they are out of their minds. I actually made a similar mistake earlier in the season when someone else posted as "THE QUICK OUT" and I jumped the gun to fire back!It is easy to forget that everyone has total anonymity when they post and can post by any name that they want. I showed up to the game yesterday wondering who the fuck on my team would post some lame shit like this... no one confessed (and my guys WILL confess about the dumbest s#it!)...
I had my doubts originally... but it seems obvious now that someone from another team is posting as a player from my squad. I heard the Playmakers` Coach make a reference from the sideline about the blog from the sideline... but it goes to show that you can`t get too worked up over some s#it that you read on the internet.
Honestly ask yourself this question... who - that lives in VA, DC, or MD - doesn`t own a Redskins baseball hat? This is pathetic because if one of my guys actually wore a skins hat to the game yesterday... then everyone would`ve been on edge for no reason. Some on-looker, that is too scared to post under their own name, would`ve been happy to see someone get jumped just for wearing a stupid fuc%ing hat!
A word to Scarred Larry... that`s FOUR wins for the Nuts in two years. However you want to cut it (reg + post seasons)! And yes... that is only one win versus Maryland teams... a testimonial to the superiority of MD to VA teams that I am not ashamed to promote.
The game we won vs the pathetic Asian squad that came across the bridge last year had nothing to do with the borrowed Rhino or Bad Boy player(s). They played the Offensive line positions against a less-than-mediocre pass rush and only played for two drives of four in the first half before the cavalry arrived... stop pretending!
And fuck this s#it about the Bad Boyz not wanting to play The Nuts... that`s a load of s#it. If you don`t want to show up... don`t! Period... end of story! Better yet... cancel the game a la The Playmakers (circa week 5) and just tell the Commish you just won`t play because you don`t want to... aside from yourself, no one gives a fuc% about your feelings!
It doesn`t matter if you beat this team... we will be there every Sunday morning playing as hard as we can to beat established teams like those already in our division. We will continue to fight for a victory every week that we put on the cleats! (There isn`t much that you can trust on this website)... But you can count on that... |

A little late posting on this thread but what the hell. Though I do play for two VA teams just thought you might want to know that the same shit goes on our messageboard. People possing as other players and posting crap that should not be posted. I honestly believe that the MD teams are more respected in VA than you think. Hell, when we(Overrated) lost to the Vegas Nights last season, we cheered them onto the Championship. We could not be there so we sent our props on the messageboard. I think combining the two states teams was great for competition. When or if you see threads posted about MD teams from VA players, take it as a compliment. They are just acting asses because they are scared to to play you. See you guys next season and good luck in the states. |
